De internationale jeugddramaserie Saïd & Anna is geselecteerd voor Jeugdfilmfestival Antwerpen (JEF), dat van 13 tot en met 18 februari plaatsvindt in België. De serie zal vertoond worden in het competitie programma van het festival. JEF is het grootse filmfestival voor kinderen en jongeren in België.
De serie draait om beste vrienden Saïd (6) en Anna (7). Zij zijn dagelijks te vinden in de Repairshop van Saïds ouders. Terwijl kapotte spullen van de mensen uit de buurt daar met goed gereedschap een tweede kans krijgen, weten de kinderen hun eigen ‘probleempjes’ ook op geheel eigen, creatieve wijze te fixen.
Saïd & Anna is een internationale coproductie van Phanta Basta! met EO (Nederland), SWR (Duitsland), VRT (België) en Indi Film (Duitsland).

Op zijn 18de verjaardag erft digital native Benjamin Kurrel het nalatenschap van zijn vermiste vader Ben Kurrel: een doos oude artefacten. Wanneer hij een antiek boek aan Slien Sleyp schenkt, het meisje waar hij een oogje op heeft, zet hij onbedoeld een kettingreactie in beweging. Een oude man die zich voorstelt als Zeppos heeft grote interesse in het boek, dat ooit aan cartograaf Mercator zou hebben toebehoord. Met behulp van de geheime boodschappen in het boek van Mercator ontsluiert het drietal steeds meer van het mysterie, terwijl ze ook een geheimzinnige tegenstander een stap voor moeten blijven.

With the help of the secret messages in Mercator`s book, the trio unveils more and more of the mystery, while they also have to stay one step ahead of a mysterious opponent.

Op zijn 18de verjaardag erft digital native Benjamin Kurrel het nalatenschap van zijn vermiste vader Ben Kurrel: een doos oude artefacten. Wanneer hij een antiek boek aan Slien Sleyp schenkt, het meisje waar hij een oogje op heeft, zet hij onbedoeld een kettingreactie in beweging. Een oude man die zich voorstelt als Zeppos heeft grote interesse in het boek, dat ooit aan cartograaf Mercator zou hebben toebehoord. Met behulp van de geheime boodschappen in het boek van Mercator ontsluiert het drietal steeds meer van het mysterie, terwijl ze ook een geheimzinnige tegenstander een stap voor moeten blijven.
